Accra, Oct. 8, GNA - Ms Nadia Takyiwaa Mensah, Founder of Sixth Sense Manifesto and Sai Wine and Champagne Café, has been awarded Woman Entrepreneur of the Year at the SME Ghana Awards at the State Banquet Hall, Accra.

The Woman Entrepreneur of the Year category was solely nominated by the Small Medium Enterprise Ghana Awards (SMEGA) jury and disclosed only on the day of the ceremony.

A statement issued in Accra by Ms Lucy Adio, the Public Relations Co-ordinator, Sixth Sense Manifesto said the award was bestowed on a woman entrepreneur, who has founded or headed an SME for not less than 3 years prior to the awards programme.

It quoted the award jury by saying Nadia left three unique impressions including her style of role performance as a Chief Executive Officer, opened up another business irrespective of the economic challenges in Ghana.

The Awardee said: 'I've never been surprised with anything in my life and I've never won an award.'

She expressed appreciation to the organisers of the awards for their confidence in the way she controls and grows the businesses.
