Veteran journalist Kweku Baako is predicting that a tough-talking lawyer Captain (rtd) Nkrabea Effah Dartey will take to his heels when he is confronted with evidence that his client, High Court judge, took a bribe.

His prediction follows comments by the lawyer who is relishing the opportunity to grill investigative journalist Anas Aremyaw Anas during cross-examination of his video evidence which implicated his client, Justice Gilbert Ayisi Addo.

"Anas will regret the day he was born” Effah Dartey has vowed on Accra-based television station, UTV Monday.

A disciplinary committee will be hearing the case of some of the judges implicated in the scandal.

But Baako is convinced that the lawyer will chicken out of the legal battle between his client and Anas Aremyaw Anas.

“I can bet you that particular case especially; the lawyer who said so on behalf of his client on radio. I can bet that lawyer that he will be running away from the Committee sitting the day he gets there…" Baako said on Kokrokoo on Peace FM

He revealed that a lawyer of one of the suspended judge was so embarrassed at the Disciplinary Committee he walked out on his client after viewing the damming evidence where he saw his client collecting a bribe.
