Ejisu-Juaben NASPA Sets GHC20 As Filing Fee For Aspirants

The Executive body of Ejisu-Juaben National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) has announced a non-refundable fee of GHC20 to be paid by aspirants contesting for the various positions (except the president) within the association as stipulated in article 9 clause 3(a) of the NASPA constitution.

The decision was reached at a crucial meeting of the Executive Body of NASPA (EJMA) on Tuesday afternoon 29th September, 2015.

The General Secretary of NASPA (EJMA), Mr. Kwaku Osei Adu Agyeman, who announced this at the secretariat office at Ejisu, said the filing fee is different from the fee charged for the nomination forms.

He said the filing fee for those contesting for the position of the president is GHC25 and the other portfolios is GHC20, and this shall be paid upon return of the nomination forms on Monday 12th October, 2015 at 4pm.

Mr. Agyeman said, the elections will be conducted by the Electoral Commission from the Ejisu-Juaben Municipal Assembly (EJMA) on Friday, 23rd October, 2015 at the Assembly Hall at Ejisu.

He said, every aspirant will be required to read his or her manifesto to the members before the elections are conducted.

Mr. Agyeman said, any member who contest for a position at the district level has a chance of contesting for a position at the regional level and then the national level and therefore urge members to pick up their nomination forms at the nss office at Ejisu and start their campaign.
