The Founder, Elijah Addo states that "Europe has over 500 food banks and America has equally over 374 food banks where the vulnerable in society gets recovered food.Considering the inefficiencies in our food supply chain, building a food bank to create sustainable means of nutrition for the vulnerable in society is the way forward.Ghana loss over five hundred and eighty four thousand metric tonnes of food in 2013 meaning each Ghanaian is wasting more than $1 worth of food in a day whiles we have over 35% of Ghanaians who can't afford a plate of food in a day.
