Vodafone is Telecommunications Company of the year - CIMG

Accra, Oct.3, GNA - Vodafone has being branded 'Telecommunications Company of the Year' for the third consecutive time at the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) awards.

A statement issued by Mr Haris Broumidis; Chief Executive Officer of Vodafone Ghana in Accra, and copied to the GNA explained that the award which was the telecommunication industry's most revered accolade, directly affirms Vodafone's leadership in creating customer-focused and value-driven products and services.

Activities and services including innovative campaigns and unrivalled customer experience on Vodafone's 3G plus network, also contributed to winning same award on three continuous times.

The statement said: 'This is testament to our leadership in customer service, innovation and strategic marketing insights as a company and our strategy has always been to deliver best network quality, best value and unmatched customer experience.'

He dedicated the award to customers and employees who made it possible for the reward.

Vodafone has been instrumental in the total transformation of the industry; since it entered the telecoms industry in 2008, leading the way in innovation, creativity and thought-leadership.

The company has also been at the forefront of delivering a level of adaptability and a touch of modernity to what was otherwise a phlegmatic institution.
