Eaglesworld Initiatives To Educate SHS Students On HIV/AIDS

A Kumasi based non-governmental organisation (ngo), Eaglesworld Initiatives, has initiated plans to educate students in senior high schools on the dangers of HIV/AIDS through the game of football.

The spread of the HIV/AIDS has over the past years been of concern to stakeholders and several efforts have been put in place to roll-back the spread of the diseases.

The Founder of Eaglesworld Initiatives, Mr. Desmond Kofi Akwaah, said the beautiful game of football is an effective tool to be employed in the fight against HIV/AIDS, especially among students.

“It is very imperative for us to tackle the scourge of HIV/AIDS effectively among students since they are the future of this country. And the best way to have a secured future is to have a healthy youth” he said.
