Voices from afar have added up to the continuous mounting of pressure on Ghana's Electoral Commission to make amends for a new voters register for the 2016 General Elections.
It is in this direction that some Concerned Ghanaians in the USA have staged a massive demonstration to demand for a new voters register and to compel the EC to act as a matter of urgency.
The demonstrators at the United Nations today have also protested police brutalities meted out to members of the Let My Vote Count Alliance, a political pressure group in Ghana.
The enraged protesters presented a petition to the UN that catalog their reasons for demanding a new voter register and also to the human rights committee of UN for human right violations by Government of Ghana against her citizens who were peacefully exercising their constitutional right to demonstrate in Ghana.
