LEC Foundation And Tigo Ghana Impact Lives Through Success Africa 2015

Over the past 8 years, LEC Foundation has contributed to transforming the lives of over 50,000 young people through its annual conference; Success Africa, across the country.

Success Africa is a motivational, career and entrepreneurship development programme which creates a platform for young people to gain knowledge from the rich experience of diverse Resources Persons from various industries in Ghana to enable young people make informed decisions for their lives for maximum and positive impact in society.

This year the theme for Success Africa is “Igniting Passion for Excellence”. The conference will explore on how participants can be passionate about achieving a level of excellence in their endeavors.

This year, the conference will bring over 50 tertiary institutions to five different regional locations; KNUST for the Ashanti Region (10th October) University of Cape Coast for the Central and Western Region on the 17th October, 2015;University of Energy and Natural Resources for Brong Ahafo Region on 24th October ; Koforidua Polytechnic for Eastern Region on 31st October, University of Development Studies- Tamale campus for the Northern Region on 7th November, 2014; and the grand finale will be hosted at the University of Ghana on the 14th November, 2015.

The conference is organized by LEC Foundation; a youth development organization with a focus on empowering the next generation of African Leaders and entrepreneurs with quality and life transforming information aimed at assisting them to make informed decisions about their lives.The Foundation has for the past seven years empowered young entrepreneurs and leaders in Ghana, Nigeria and Liberia through career development programmes like the “Success Africa”, “After school, What’s Next” and many others.

The 2015 edition of Success Africa, organized in collaboration with Tigo Ghana and other key partners like First Capital Plus Bank, CIM UK Ghana , Coca Cola, Philfry Vegatable Oil and SSNIT.

The resource persons includes Jesse Agyepong of Tigo Ghana, Apostle General Rev. Sam Korankey Ankrah of Royal House Chapel International , David Ganesha of Cal Brokers ,Mike Nyinaku of Beige Capital , Dr. Stephen Enchill of HMI Management Services Limited and convener, Mr. Albert Kusi, Executive Director of LEC Foundation and many others.

There will be workshops/break out sessions on Career Development, Digital, Entrepreneurship and Investment. Participants will undergo practical training at these sessions.

This year’s Success Africa is opened to all students in the various tertiary institutions. All tertiary students within each region are invited to converge for the conference in the designated venues in the regions.
