SEP 29, 2015 LISTEN

The People's National Convention (PNC) Youth Organiser, Abu Ramadan has hit the road campaigning to retain his position as the party prepares to go to congress to elect new leaders.

He is not alone on the campaign trail. Even Hassan Ayariga the man who evoked mixed reactions when he led the party to the last elections has pasted his posters in some parts of Accra as he seeks another nod from his party faithful.

He would have to fight an uphill task given what political observers, by and large, consider as his comic and puerile treatment of rather serious national issues.

Abu Ramadan has been visible across the media trail hopping from one radio to the other discussing thorny national issues although very hard on government.

He was recently in Kumasi where DAILY GUIDE gathered he was the toast of delegates. He is tipped to retain the position which he appears to have held rather excellently, keeping, by so doing, the name of his party on the political landscape.

In the Ashanti Region where he was recently, he told his hosts that he wants to revamp the women and youth wings and to harness more seats for the party in 2016.

According to him, his party has launched an 'operation five points' which would according to him form the basis for making the party visible in all polling stations across the country ahead of the 2016 polls.
