Grand Homowo Uk Festival 2015 Set For 3rd October

Following the spectacular Homowo celebrations hosted by the GaDangme community in Italy this July, The Grand Homowo UK Festival 2015 has been launched in London with this year’s celebrations promising to be the best ever.

With invitations sent out to the Paramount Chiefs of Nungua, Nii Odaifio Welenchi, Osu Mantse, Nii Kinka Dowuona, and Tema Mantse, Nii Adjei Kraku, Chiefs from James Town, Wulomei as well as the Mayor of Accra, Hon. Alfred Oko Vanderpuije, Greater Accra Regional Minister, Hon. Afotey Agbo, MP’s and MCE’s, the stage is set for a festival to be truly proud of. Entertainment for the day includes cultural performances, followed by dancing to the latest highlife music.

Ghana’s legendary artiste Amandzeba, supported by Dr Slim and Klala are set to hold a special session aimed at encouraging Ghanaian youth resident in the UK to make positive life choices. The event will be held on Saturday 3^rd October 2015 at 3pm at the COLLEGE OF NORTH EAST LONDON, SEVEN SISTERS, TOTTENHAM, N15 4RU.

The GaDangme community in UK welcomes everyone to a beautiful cultural experience. The event will be covered by RTV, Obonu and other TV and radio stations for broadcast.
