London, 14 September 2015 - Renaissance Capital, a leading emerging and frontier markets investment bank, announces that Dan Harvey has joined the Firm’s equity trading desk in London as a Director. He will focus on the metals and mining sector, Central and Eastern Europe and European frontier markets. Dan will report to David George, Head of Trading in London.
Dan has over 20 years of trading experience as Director of Equity Trading at both HSBC and JP Morgan. During his career he has traded metals and mining, utilities and oil and worked on deals across emerging and frontier markets in the EMEA region, including Sub-Saharan Africa and Central and Eastern Europe. In addition, at HSBC, Dan worked with South African dual-listed companies and Israeli equities. As a specialist in the metals and mining and global resources sector he assisted in the development of Precious Metal ETFs at HSBC. He is registered with the FCA and has completed comprehensive regulatory training.
