The Results From The Assembly Elections Is A Sign Of Better Things To Come - STUNNAD
03.09.2015 LISTEN

We want to use this opportunity to congratulate all Ghanaians for a peaceful Assembly election especially those who contested for various positions and the teaming masses that came out to vote.

This Assembly election was a test of the popularity or otherwise, of the two major parties as all parties made frantic effort to support respective persons from their fold to contest in the just ended Assembly elections.

Out of the about 6156 electoral area nationwide, candidates with Npp background won about 59.57% representing 3667 electoral area. Candidates with NPP background won 964 electoral areas out of 1045 representing 92.2% in the Ashanti Region, 517 out of 850 electoral areas representing 60.8% in the Eastern Region, 527 out of 765 electoral area representing 68.89% in the Brong Ahafo Region, 66.37% representing 379 out of the 571 electoral areas in Central Region, 58.64% representing 319 out of the 544 electoral areas in Western Region, 55.14% representing 252 out of the 457 electoral areas in Greater Accra, 42.45% representing 298 out of 702 electoral areas in the Northern Region, 29.3% representing 194 out of the 662 electoral areas in Volta Region, 120 out of the 348 electoral areas in the Upper East Region representing 34.48% and 33.33% in the Upper West Region representing 97 out of the 291 electoral areas in the Region.

This election is a great testimony that majority of Ghanaians have lost faith in anything NDC.

We urge Ghanaians to keep faith with the NPP and hold on to the message of hope in the face of the gross incompetence of the current NDC administration.
