Accra, Sept. 2, GNA - Takoradi based Lawyer and Educationist Raymond Akpatsa has picked up forms to contest the Adaklu Parliamentary primaries on the ticket of the ruling National Democratic Congress.
Mr Akpatsa, who hails from Adaklu-Waya, was accompanied by the rank and file of the party to the party office to pick the form.
He told his followers that he has been in touch with the people of Adaklu as well as the grassroots supporters of the party.
Mr Akpatsa said Adaklu is beset with a plethora of developmental and social challenges such as a poor road network, lack of potable water, high school dropouts and high poverty rates among others.
He promised to provide a transformational leadership capable of addressing such challenges when given the nod to represent the people of Adaklu in Parliament.
Mr Akpatsa also assured the people of his continued cooperation with the chiefs, the DCE and stakeholders as well as opinion leaders in the pursuit of the development agenda for Adaklu.
Mr Akpatsa is well-known in GBC's 'What Do You Know", having been Champion in 2006 and 2010.
