Okere electorate show support for assembly elections

Abirew (E/R), September 1, GNA - Voters in the Okere area in the Akuapem North District demonstrated active interest in the District and Unit Committee Elections.

As at 10.00 am, a number of eligible voters had cast their votes at the various polling stations.

At the Abrew Presby Primary One Polling Station, 59 out of 375 voters had cast their votes for both the District and Unit Committee Elections.

At the Abrew Presby Primary Two, 63 out of 300 registered voters had cast their ballots, and at the Abrew Presby Church, 47 out of 380 had cast their votes.

At the Awukugua L/A Primary Polling Station One, 51 out of 241 had cast their votes , while at Polling Station Two, 37 out of 254 had voted.

At Polling Station Three, 43 out of 274 had cast their votes, and at the Awukugua VRA Quarters, 101 out of 537 had cast their votes, all for the district assembly.

At Adukrom Abonde Presby One, 65 out of 571 had voted, at Polling Station Two, 51 out of 675 registered voters had cast their votes and at Polling Sation Three, 127 out of 875 had cast their votes.

Scores of eligible voters were in queues in all polling stations visited waiting for their turn to vote.
