ICODEHS Condemns Extremism In Islam
02.09.2015 LISTEN

For us in Islamic Council for Development and Humanitarian Services (ICODEHS), we say Praise be to Allah for bringing us this far, over thirty three years of service to mankind. To our Partners, with whose strategic partnership and benevolence we have been able to put smiles on the faces of numerous people in Ghana and other parts of Africa, we are most grateful.

On the issue of extremism in Islam, Islamic Council for Development and Humanitarian Services would wish to emphasize our position that such an act has no place in Islam. Muslims worldwide ought to bear in mind that irresponsible act of violence that often claim the lives of innocent non-Muslims and sometimes Muslims alike, is senseless and only seeks to soil the good image of Islam.

ICODEHS wishes to urge muslims all over the world, that, they must emulate the shinning examples of the Prophet of Islam. The present generation of the muslim Ummah should rather be good public relation officers and marketers for the Islam instead of sabotaging its image in the name of extreme religious fanaticism.

ICODEHS therefore call on the muslim leaders, Islamic NGOs and the Government to endeavour to improve the socio-economic conditions of our young people so as to see better Muslims and more responsible citizens in them and put them in a better position to contribute their quota towards championing the course of economic and national development.

May Allah grant us all, the very best of His infinite blessings and protect and insulate us against any calamities and adversities that it may also bring along with it.
