Supporters of the ruling National Democratic Congress(NDC) has been urged to desist from politics of insults as party is preparing to hold its presidentail and parliamentary primaries.

Member of Parliament for Upper West Akyem, Hon. Joseph Sam Amankwanor made this statement after filing his nomination form at Adeiso.

"We need to do away with politics of insults as well as attacking personalities verbally because supporting one candidate does not mean the contender is an enemy" he stressed.

According to the incumbent MP, the party believes in democracy hence the need to respect one's views and choice instead of developing hatred amongst themselves which will adversely have effect on the party.

Hon. Amankwanor was however hopeful he will win the primaries due to developmental projects he had undertaken within the constituency and has appealed to supporters to vote him back into power in order to continue his ongoing projects.

He assured party supporters of increasing votes of the party in the 2016 to help re - elect President Mahama.

He also urged his fellow MPs to find innovative ways of mobilising funds to help develop their constituents since the common fund is not enough to undertake initiatives to benefit the people.
