Ejisu-Juaben NASPA Ends National Service With Thanksgiving Service

The Ejisu-Juaben National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) on sunday 30th August, 2015 officially ended the 2014/2015 national service period with a mega thanksgiving service.

The colourful programme which was put together by the NASPA organizing team was held at the Ejisu Pentecost Church, Ejisu-Ashanti

Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Kwaku Osei Adu Agyeman (General secretary of NASPA) said, the aim of the thanksgiving service was to thank God for a succesful service period and also to seek His guidance and protection in all the future endeavours of outgoing service personnel.

Quoting 1 Thessalonians 5:18, he said 'give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus'.

He used the opportunity to thank the sponsors for the service period especially Tropenbos International Ghana, CSIR-FORIG, Benak Drinking water, Royal Sparkle (Producers of Pinea drink), Ejisu Government Hospital, Ejisu Juaben Municipal Assembly and Ejisu Pentecost church for their support.

Mr. Agyeman also extended his profound gratitude to Rev. Kwame Adjei (Immediate past NSS director for Ejisu-Juaben), Mr. Emmanuel Coffie (NSS director, Ejisu-Juaben) and Hon. Kwaku Afrifa Yamoah Ponkoh (Immediate past MCE for Ejisu-Juaben) for their support and encouragement.

He again thanked the 4-member organizing team of NASPA (EJMA) which included Mr. Christian Adonteng Boaheng, Mr. Paul Aninakwa Kwakye, Mr. B. B. Benjamin and Mr. Martin Atta Marfo for the wonderful programmes they organized for the association throughout the service period.

Mr. Paul Aninakwa kwakye, a member of the organizing team commended the personnel for patronizing programmes organized and their zeal towards work during the service period.

He however, charged them to do the same as they go to the real world.

Miss Esther Amakye (a service personnel, EJMA) said, she was very delighted to be part of this special thanksgiving service and praised the Executive body of NASPA (EJMA) for a good work done during the service period.

Miss Nancy Owusu (also personnel at EJMA) said she was happy that such a programme was organized for personnel within the Municipality and was of the hope that personnel will acquire their dream jobs in the near future.

Members present danced and praised God for a successful service period.
