Withdrawal Of Trainee Teachers Allowance Was Useless - Free Ghana Now
31.08.2015 LISTEN

Free Ghana Now (FGN-PC) want to plead with the NDC Government to leave our educational system as they met it. Education under NDC government is collapsing.

We have observed with many challenges in the educational sector and we can confidently say the government has less or no interest in building good educational system .

For the past six years, one can honestly say education in this country has not been of priority to this government at all. The government lack expects to make education very effective under its administration.

Ghanaians were worried when President Mahama and his NDC administration decided to withdraw Trainee Teachers Allowance. A lot of concerns were raised for the NDC government not to try such useless move, but they gave deaf ears to all advise despite the cry from parents ,students and Ghanaians.

Why do you ask a student to apply for student Loan to enable him or her attend Teacher Training or any College of education when he or she can use that loan to enroll in the University?

As a result of this , it is reveal that less than 30% enrollment was made by various colleges of education this year . Its very pathetic .

Why is the government Always in a haste to find quick fixes to solve structural problems in education sector? The destiny of students in Ghana are now in the hands of wicked and visionless leaders.

The government should reinstate the Trainee teachers allowance to make it more attractive to students. The rush to admit SHS candidates who obtained E7 and D8 into colleges of education is so shameful.

Again withdrawal of trainee teachers allowance is indirectly to deprive the brilliant student the opportunity to enter any of the college of education.

The government should better come out to do something positive concerning The withdrawal of teacher trainee allowance before we experience shortage of trained teachers in the next 2 years.

Youth groups and Students in Ghana should wake up and speak angrily against how our educational system is being played with.

Long live Ghana!
