FOUR READERS of the DAILY GUIDE and Business and Financial Times have won free Emirates air tickets to Dubai in the on-board Emirates reader competition.

The lucky four, who were presented with their return air tickets at a short ceremony in Accra, are Martina Buckner and Benjamin Aboagye, who answered the questions in the DAILY GUIDE, and Jeffrey Adeborna and Anne Ntepbe-Essuman who answered from the Business and Financial Times.

They were chosen after a draw was held to select the winners, two from each newspaper.

Hendrik Du Preez, Country Manager for Emirates, Ghana, said as a global connector of people and an airline that seeks to heighten the travel experience for its customers, the competition was designed to introduce its audience to some of Emirate's superior products and services.

'In February this year, as part of our second travelogue competition also held in partnership with DAILY GUIDE and Business and Financial Times, winners won tickets to Chicago, Boston, Taipei and Dubai,' he said.

Mr Preez added, 'Your participation in the quiz is a demonstration of your interest in our airline and we are grateful for that. We look forward to giving you the best of travel experience on Emirates.'

He also expressed gratitude to the DAILY GUIDE for being on board with the Emirates.

'Emirate appreciates your support and looks forward to partnering more with you,' he added.

The on-board Emirates reader competition, in partnership with the DAILY GUIDE and Business & Financial Times newspapers, was organised to reward the Ghanaian public for their valuable support of Emirates Airline over the past 10 years.

Features on Emirates' products and services (gourmet cuisine, award winning in-flight entertainment system ice [over 2,000 channels of entertainment] and their international cabin crew) were placed in both newspapers with questions for participants to answer and enter.

The presentation of tickets to winners of the reader competition is the third to be held.
