Founder and Head pastor of Deliverance Bethel Ministry International, Apostle George Twumasi Ankrah has appealed to churches to get the youth involved in church activities in order to transform both their moral and spiritual attitudes for the better.

He said this at a 3-day seminar organised for the youth under the theme "Touching the fire to perform'" at Tafo in the East Akim municipality of the Eastern region.

According to him, it is good to draw children closer to God as the Bible says to help them follow His words thereby staying away from all bad behaviours that could intent affect their livelihood.

"Most of our youth are engaging in drinking, smoking, stealing, prostituting among others today because most of them were left to do what they wish instead of the church and parents taking up the responsibility of getting them closer to God" he added.

Apostle Twumasi Ankrah however charged the youth to be mindful of God's commandments and urged them to focus on their aspirations for God will surely grant them success in the future.

He also appealed to government to put down structures that will ensure the good development of children and the youth.
