Dompea Division Of Adukrom Donates Toys To School

Ruth Merkatz, the wife of the Dompeahene of Adukrom, Nana Prof Merkatz Larbi has donated a quantity of toys to school children of Adukrom Akwapim. The presentation was made on behalf of the Dompea Division by Nana Otutu Kono III Nifahene of Akwapim and Adukrom Manhene and Nana Ampem Darko Larbi, Mawerehene of Adukrom.

The collection, organization and shipping of the toys from New York were coordinated by the Domepeahemaa Nana Awo Akua Mantebea I (Mrs Lydia Apronti)

It will be recalled that in September 2014, a quantity of Medical supplies were donated to the Adukrom Health Center by Nana Merkatz Larbi.

Mrs Ruth Merkatz, a Researcher at the United Nations Population Council indicated that he was touched and impressed by what she saw at Adukrom when she and her husband visited Ghana and is determined to be of help in ways she can and that she would continue to show an interest in the children and assist in many ways and that this is only the beginning.
