Dream Ambassadors Foundation To Hold Mentorship Program In Bolga

The president and founder of the Dream Ambassadors Foundation, Emmanuel Asieme Ayine have disclosed the foundation’s intention to organize a mentorship program in the Upper East Region.

The program which is slated for August 8, 2015 under the theme “Changing perceptions to stimulate growth” will be held at the Bolgatanga Vag Hall at about 9:30 am. There will also be a networking session for both senior high school and tertiary graduates to share ideas and form groups that will foster growth and influence aspirations. The two hour program is expected to restore confidence and decency among the youth of the region.

According to the president, the program is in line with the foundation’s Vision “to transform communities by implementing sustainable programs that improves and inspires people to become more responsible and open minded in other to leave a sustainable world for future generations”.

Emmanuel Asieme said, there is an apparent lack of relevant information to aid people make the right choices. He quoted the popular bible verse “for lack of knowledge my people perish” saying, “scarcity of information in the region has militated against the dreams and ambitions of the youth making majority go wayward at the end.

He said “crime related issues within the region is currently at a rise partly because majority of the youth who are unable to make it academically feels they cannot make it in life either than resolving to unjustifiable ways of making a living for themselves”. This he noted continues to burden his mind given the fact that he is an ambassador of dreams and particularly a native of the region”.

He entreated all and sundry to make time to participate in what he describes as a ‘mind shift program” so as to help build the region for all. He added that, speakers within and outside the region will “serve the ears of the youth with inspirational stories to help facilitate a positive mindset”.
