Confusion rocks NPP Korle Klottey parliamentary primary as two aspirants boycott poll with police making several arrests.

Lawyer Philip Addison and Nii Adjei Tawiah boycotted the ongoing primary at the party’s headquarters at Asylum Down, Accra, insisting that the election should be held next week, August 8 as earlier communicated by the party.

But the constituency decided to go with a separate letter from the General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong that moved the primaries forward to Sunday August 2, 2015.

This has incurred the wrath of the two aspirants who stormed out of the venue for the primary after registering their displeasure.
