Kwasimintim NPP Delegates And Party Faithful Are Seeking Fairness In Their Pending Primaries
02.08.2015 LISTEN

We trust and believe that in the spirit of Patriotism and Democracy we all are doing very well. Chairman, your months of reign has been partly successful considering the hard and tough times your administration is been going through.

For your postures and gestures administratively, you ever remain firm and unyielding which is worth commending to a limited degree.

Mr. Chairman, we the Natives and the Delegates of Kwesimintim are becoming completely disappointed if not frustrated considering the kind of attention you are giving to our struggles, fights and rights. We would be grateful profoundly if you could have mercy with us for the wrong we did ignorantly. We cannot be made an alien on a constituency of our birth and right continuously.

Mr. Chairman, we the Natives and the Delegates obstinately subscribe to your New Plans for Power which dwells on Restructuring, Rebranding and Reorganizing to Recapture power come 2016. On these principles

Mr. Chairman we state unequivocally, and emphatically that we cannot settle on your preferred candidate Joe Baidoo Ansah. We cannot bear and embrace the consequence of him losing that SEAT.

Joe Baidoo Ansah has indicated clearly that he will lose the contest should Joseph Mensah be made to contest him. Mr Chairman we are unconcern should Joe Baidoo Ansah lose this Seat. The ultimate we believe is NPP retaining the Seat and this is paramount to us.

Mr. Chairman since 2000, we the Natives and the Delegates have been taught discipline and we have abided and as well respected our party structures and its related principles albeit, we struggle unnecessarily to win parliamentary elections with Joe Baidoo Ansah as our PC

Mr. Chairman as we stated clearly in our previous release, per the actions and inactions of your office and that of Joe Baidoo Ansah it is evidently clear that indeed Joe Baidoo Ansah want to succeed in playing with our intelligences and that of your office. Since 2000, it is so strange, unpatriotic, mind boggling and undemocratic that in every PC contest Joe Baidoo Ansah’s opponents suffer similar fate. Why?

Mr. Chairman we would not have come out normally, however this time around we say enough is enough. We are just fed up with his dealings and his leadership. We are completely aware that Joe Baidoo Ansah has been representing your “interest” and still does, nevertheless for the sake of our interest and that of the party’s interest in 2016 elections we cannot risk our chance and suffer unbearable developmental challenges again.

Should he Joe Baidoo Ansah be made to run on our ticket this time around by all foul means deem fit to some sections in our dear party because of their interest, then we should not be far from a shameful defeat this time around welcoming us.

Statistically, let us assess the voting history of Joe Baidoo Ansah and conclude out of it. In 2000 Elections Joe Baidoo Ansah recorded 30,869, in 2004 elections he had 36,936 which were quite impressive. In 2008 and 2012 elections, with all our might Joe Baidoo Ansah’s votes understandably reduced shamefully. He recorded 27,998 and 15,179 respectfully. Chairman we believe by this statistics you should be asking yourself some questions with regards to your new plans for power in 2016. Enough is enough. Kwesimintim deserves some respect and unabused attention.

Joseph Mensah is a known constituency member. Per his commitments and contributions to the party both at the Region and the Constituency, some Natives want to entrust the Seat in his care. Therefore we demand a fair contest to elect our preferred candidate for the party and constituency.

Now touching on the supposed disqualification,
Mr. Chairman if not for reasons best known to you and some sections of your office only, why wouldn’t you make the reasons for Joseph Mensah’s supposed disqualification known publicly?

Well, Mr. Chairman we cannot see Joseph Mensah being a victim of what you allegedly called a system failure. Mr. Chairman we need answers to the following questions;

Can a nonparty member pay his annual dues from 2011 till date?

Can a nonparty member be given a receipt of payment of dues annually?

Must Joseph Mensah suffer your dereliction and negligence of duty?

Why do you want to impose Joe Baidoo Ansah on us this time around?

Does your New Plans for Power opposes the interest of our constituency and the party?

Mr. Chairman you have no choice than to clear Joseph Mensah for the contest. We are equally capable of electing a true party member to lead us. Retaining Kwesimintim Seat is very paramount for the party than any of our interest.

We Shall Return……….
Our regards
Long Live Kwesimintim
