Accra's newest addition to radio Kasapa 102. 3 FM launches officially Friday July 31.The less-than three months old station, which started commercial broadcast in May will on Friday get to make a statement for its preparedness to play big in Ghana's growing media ecosystem.

Station handlers say the launch will be done in two parts. A grand launch to officially usher it into the media space will be driven by a fan-heavy float across some streets in the Accra-Tema township all day.

Business Manager, Kasapa FM, George Yaw Okyere says the launch will afford the station a unique opportunity to officially outdoor the faces behind the brand.

"Brand Kasapa has effectively taken the electronic media landscape in Accra by storm; thanks to the perfect assemblage of the best industry players, coupled with our resolute desire to set new standards."

Kasapa FM Okyere says is in to play big.

"The only change to expect in our products and services which have endeared us to the listening public is an up-scaling of the quality and innovation which have characterized our operations so far."

An exciting on-air offering that continues to warm its way into the hearts of the city's listening public, Kasapa 102. 3 FM has within the first three months of its operations managed to make a case for how different mass radio can be.

Its on air human resource quality in Fiifi Banson (Morning Show), Afia Schwarzenegger (Mid-morning), Kwaku Owusu Adjei (Current Affairs and Talk Show host), and Tony Adam Adjei and Gideon Okyere Anim (Sports) as well as its amazing news team who are being backed by an efficient production system headed by Programmes Director, Kojo Preko Dankwa, has helped in securing for the brand a place on local radio.

Other talents who have joined the Kasapa FM brand include celebrated presenters Kwame B, and Sammy B.

Owned by Africa's leading media group EIB Network, the station operates a 60 percent talk and 40 percent music policy. From its plush offices in Adabraka, it operates a successful mix of the two curated by some leading names in radio in Ghana.
