So who is DJ Breezy? DJ Breezy is the prouder of Black Avenue Musik owned by Desmond Blackmore a.k.a D-Black. He is also the record producer credited with hit songs like Tonga by Joey B featuring Sarkodie, Personal Person by D-Black featuring Castro D´Destroyer, Seihor by Castro D´Destroyer featuring D-Black, Selfie by VVIP and Shelele by EL.

Also, DJ Breezy who is singed by D-Black´s Black Avenue Musik proved to his boss and the whole music industry that he could distinguish himself in the concentrated area of record production here in Ghana.

Moreover, DJ Breezy is one beat maker whose instrumentals are a sublime fusion of different genres of music which come out as irresistible. ´Tonga' being one of the most controversial and popular tracks in Ghana´s music history is a cool blend of more Hiplife and Afrobeats and less Hiphop.

Again, the dynamism of this promising record producer has enabled him to win the 2014/2015 VGMAs Producer of the Year and the 2015 Discovery DJ of the Year. He has also been nominated in the ´´Music Producer of the Year´´ category for this year´s AFRIMMA.

However, a lot of people are not privy to the severe sufferings of DJ Breezy not long ago. This young guy recounts how broke and wretched he was in the past as an unknown beat maker. His benevolent boss, D-Black even said that DJ Breezy had less than GHC 100 to his credit when this sound engineer was nobody. DJ Breezy also claims that he slept in the studio with empty stomach few years ago.

But now he has moved from zero to hero; thanks to God, Mr. Desmond Kwesi Blackmore, his loyal friends and fans. Indeed, DJ Breezy has made us all proud and he is certainly a big source of inspiration to talented hustlers in the system like us.
