Chittagong (Bangladesh) (AFP) - South Africa reached 165-3 at tea on the opening day of the first Test against Bangladesh at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury stadium in Chittagong on Tuesday.

Dean Elgar (47) and Faf du Plessis (48) added 78 runs for the second wicket before both of them fell in successive overs.
