An Accra Magistrate Court has adjourned to July, 10, the ruling for a bail application for Gregory Afoko who is standing trial for the murder of the Upper East regional chairman of the New Patriotic Party.

Afoko, brother of NPP national chairman Paul Afoko was expected to know his fate today but the strike by State Attorneys meant the court had to defer ruling.

Afoko together with his accomplice Musah Issah have been in police custody since their arrest in May.

They were arrested after the Upper East NPP regional chairman Adams Mahama was showered with acid leading to his death.
