Freed reporter for The Enquirer, Felix Nyaaba plans to sue the state for ₵2 million as compensation after he was wrongfully sentenced to three years for indecently assaulting a five-year-old girl.

He also wants the Chief Justice to reprimand judges such as Sedina Agbemava for wrongful convictions.

Felix Nyaaba had his wedding on February 2014, with a bridal team which included five flower girls. Thirty-four days after the wedding, he was accused of defiling one of them.

In February this year, court and crimes reporter for the Enquirer newspaper, Felix Nyaaba, was sentenced to three years imprisonment in hard labour by an Accra Circuit Court.

Though there was no evidence to prove he committed the offence, the court, presided by Sedina Agbemava, convicted him.

Felix has since appealed the judgment and was acquitted by an Accra High court last Thursday after four months in Nsawam prison.
