Rt. Rev. Bishop Dr. Divine Agyemang Badu, the Diocesan Bishop for the Shiloh United Church of Effiduase in the Ashanti region, has advised President John Dramani Mahama and his team to take critical decisions for the growth of Ghana's economy.

He further urged the NDC government to build upon the positive economic policies and interventions inherited from their previous governments in order to boost the progress of the country.

Bishop Agyemang who is also the Vice Principal of Shiloh Bible Training Center for pastors at the Effiduase campus said, "this would help promote structural developmental policies for the progress of this country to save the economy from crumbling".

The respected man of God, advised government officials to add a positive value to what they have inherited from previous heads of states to help sustain the economy in a better way.

The concerned bishop made these remarks in an interview with ModernGhana, at the end of 15 days Charismatic Revival by the Effiduase Diocese of Shiloh United Church – Ghana.

The event was on the theme: "Don't Stop Here", Strengthen Christians To Focus And Strive Through Any Christianity Furnace No Matter Any Challenges They May Encounter.

Over 3,000 people who turned out at the program received their miracles, breakthrough, healing and supernatural anointing. The historic event also ended up setting the captives free, breaking yokes and ancestral chains while the blind, barren were revived and other spiritual bondages drastically dealt with.

The respected man of God also charged other African presidents to follow the same steps saying, "the mechanism could help make African countries less defendent on their European counterparts".

“Most African leaders and presidents, have ignored the laid down governance procedures they met, and running different systems that makes them difficult to survive”. He stated.

He cited Ghana for example, where most presidents refuse to continue lots of projects started by previous governments.

He expressed worry over the hypocritical disregard for national rules, which he said only hindered effective use of the country's resources and placing Ghana into a tight corner as people suffer from the economic crisis.

Other respected men of God who graced the revival were His eminence archbishop Dr. Samuel Richard Addae, General Overseer Shiloh United Church, Prophet Godfred Antwerp, Church of Pentecost, Rev. Dr. Osei, Family Chapel, Apostle Steve Plantill of the Baptist Church, Evangelist Mintah of the CCC, Evang. Joseph Way, Grace fellowship church., Bishop Nii Nae and Bishop Moses Quayson of the Methodist church, all from Kumasi.

Touching on Christianity today, The host, Bishop Agyemang indicated that Christianity was a journey that every particular stage, is associated with a problem thus; either financially, sickness, spiritual or general economic crises".

He urged Christians, to stand firm in times of trouble, until they get to the land that the Lord and Saviour Jesus had promised to deliver unto them.

"Many Christians get frustrated along their journey in Christ, but still need to pursue their vision until they achieve what they want because there are hopes awaiting for them. Though there are challenges and it is true, troubles may come yes, but he who will stand firm in difficult times, would see the crown of victory". He said.

He again tasked followers of Christ to focus, put their trust in Him that is with them, and "should entirely devote their whole life and soul unto Him".
