Women With Kids

Issues concerning women have been of huge interest to me, this is the first of several issues on women I will be writing about.

I have known some very good single women with kids, some of whom have been married before, a few of these women I have been very close to.

These women I have known, all have estranged boyfriends now. Being an inquisitive person, these are a few observations I have made about these pretty young women with kids.

I noticed that the treatment these women have suffered at the hands of their exes have in no way affected their love for their kids despite the bitter endings.

One of them tells me “I gave birth to my child out of love, even though things have not been well between my ex-boyfriend and I, I love my son because he is my blood too.”

They all told me their experiences (being a single parent) have affected their relationships:

“All these have changed my preference of the type of man I want, I am more careful now, I think I am too careful now.”

“My experience has affected me, but it does not mean all men are the same. They are of different characters and behaviors so it is difficult making a comparison.”

I finally asked if they have any relationship advice for young women:

“My advice to ladies is that, they should take their time to know their partners before thinking of marriage. And when they break off from a relationship they should take a little time to release themselves from all the pain before jumping into another relationship.”

“If you want to marry, marry a friend it is easier adjusting to the ways of a friend, it helps prevent some of the relationship and marriage troubles. Sex before marriage takes the sanity out of relationships; I advice people should wait till marriage before engaging in sex.”

The experiences these women have been through, though not pleasant have given them a new direction in life.
