Eastern regional communications director of New Patriotic Party(NPP), David Prah has expressed worry about the actions of government and city authorities towards the force evacuation of people of Sodom and Gomorrah and has therefore described it illegal and unconstitutional.

According to him, it is difficult to understand the government why the people are being forced to go back to their hometown.

Speaking to the reporter in Koforidua, mr. Prah said the Mahama-led government could have done better by re-settling the people to a well prepared place instead of forcing them to move back to the north.

"I blame the NDC government of refusing to continue a project initiated by former president Agyekum Kuffour when NPP was in power to relocate the people to Adjen Kotoku but rather they have been neglected and abandoned" he addded.

He also accused president Mahama and the NDC government of using the money meant for therelocation of the people in the 2012 elections.

Mr. David Prah challenged city authorities to be more responsible in their activities as they have failed in protecting the ordinary ghanaian as far as the demolition exercise was concerned. He also wondered why the flood disaster could all be attributed to the people of Sodom and Gomorrah and rather tasked government and city authorities to find elasting solutions to the problem instead of putting the blame on the ordinary peoole.

He however assured the people that, the NPP supports them in spirit and also urged them to vote for their flagbearer, Nana Akuffo Addo come 2016 and the NPP who will care for their needs.

He therefore made assertions that aurhorities could be taken to court since their action is against the laws of the country.
