Dear Sir,

LETTER OF WITHDRAWAL.

The Leadership of the Students' Representative Council of University of Ghana write to notify your noble office of its withdrawal from all activities of the University Students Association of Ghana ( USAG).

This crucial decision was arrived at after the Leadership of USAG given an ultimatum of one week, failed in their mandate to get the UG-SRC an official document from government stating clearly its stance with regards to the payment of utility bills when the institution was faced with such a deadly challenge of paying an astronomical bill as utility come next semester given a limited time for decisions to be made by the university.

As an SRC, we would not involve ourselves with any activities of our mother union if it cannot help get our problems solved.

In this vein, we wish to officially inform all stakeholders unequivocally of the decision of the leadership of the UG - SRC to withdraw from all activities of its mother union USAG until we are served with an official document.

Please note that the withdrawal from USAG would start at exactly 6:30pm today 27th June, 2015 which would mark the end of the one week ultimatum.
