General manager of Odwen Anoma rural bank limited, Paul Yeboah has pledged their continious support to the quality of education in their operational areas in order to assist needy but brilliant students. He said the bank spent 2,770.00 cedis on education within their catchment areas and assured his outfit's plans to increase it in the coming years.

Mr. Paul Yeboah disclosed this in an interview at the bank's 19th annual general meeting at Kwahu-Abetifi in the eastern region.

He said the bank made a profit after tax of 336,104.00 cedis in 2014 as compared to 175,560.00 cedis in 2013 whiles deposits increased from 3,984,785 cedis in 2013 to 4,475,625 cedis last year.

"I entreat all to come and do business with the bank since we have good and cordial staff to take care of their needs at all times" he added.

He also stated the bank's intention to relocate the the Mpraeso branch to a more accessible and decent area to ease all tensions and inconviences both customers and staff encounter.

The board chairman, Emmanuel kwasi ofori commended management and staff for their hardwork and devotion towards the success of the bank and urged shareholders to increase their shares.

He also acknowledged the central bank, ARB/APEX bank Ltd and the Association of rural banks as well as external auditors for their continious support, guidance and encouragement.
