Inauguration Of The Progressive Licensed Cocoa Buyers Association (PLCBA)

The President, Secretary, Executive Board Members and the entire Membership of the Progressive Licenced Cocoa Buyers Association wish to announce the Official Inauguration of the Association.

The Inauguration will take place on 10^th July 2015 at the British Council Hall from 9am to 4pm.

The Inauguration is expected to expose the Association more to the public for the public to be more familiar with the work of the Association.

The Progressive Licenced Cocoa Buyers Association was established as a company limited by guarantee under the Ghana Company’s code 1963 (Act 179) on 20^th May 2014.

With its registered office at Plot No.5 Marble House South Industrial Area, Accra, the Association was formed by Fourteen (14) Indigenous Licenced Cocoa Buying Companies to advance each other’s welfare and also to raise adequate funding to purchase cocoa in their individual capacities. The Members of the Association believe that by coming together to form the Association, member companies can pull resources together to attract large amount of funding on better conditions than they individually get and also buy cocoa in larger volumes.

The Unity of the Association could also help members attract high level professionals to manage successfully the businesses of member companies through the Secretariat of the Association and help to reduce cost of operations.
