This is another great news for the African community in Worcester, MA. as Award-winning Ghanaian Media Personality and Community Leader has been selected to recieve an award.

Honorable Ken Asafo Adjei is to be honored in on Friday.July 19th, 2015. The Barbara Jordan Award will be presented to him by the Worcester Democratic Committee.

Dear Mr. Asafo-Adjei,
On behalf of the Worcester Democratic City Committee it is my pleasure to inform you that you have been selected to receive the Barbara Jordan Award. Congratulations on this achievement! This award is given to a registered Democrat who through direct action and advocacy has participated in activities leading to the recruitment of members of communities of color into the Democratic Party. You have met and surpassed these criteria, and have clearly demonstrated the outstanding qualities we look for in our recipients of this award.
