DRIVERS ‘DOWN WHEELS’; LEAVING COMMUTERS STRABDED IN ACCRA

Hundreds of commuters in Accra and surrounding communities were stranded yesterday when commercial drivers embarked on a strike in protest against new road traffic regulations issued by the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA).

GOVERNMENT TO WASH HANDS OFF PRICING PETROLEUM PRODUCTS

The government has decided to wash its hands off the pricing of petroleum products.

GPRTU, GRTCC CONDEMN ACTION OF DRIVERS
The Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) of the Trades Union Congress (TUC) and the Ghana Road Transport Coordinating Council (GRTCC) have dissociated themselves from the strike by some commercial drivers in Accra yesterday.
