Bond Savings & Loans Limited, as part of its corporate social responsibility for this year, has donated 300 bathing bowls to three government hospitals namely Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, La-General Hospital and the Tema Poly Clinic.

The new bathing bowls, presented by Jacqueline Pinto and Ahnzim Wusa Manga of the Corporate Affairs Unit of Bond Savings & Loans Limited, were donated to nursing mothers on admission at the various maternity wards of the three hospitals through senior midwives and nurses in charge of the wards.

'Bond Savings & Loans believes in offering only the best of services to our customers, and has over the years added various services like inward remittances, cash management, cheque clearing, current & savings account, with the latest addition being the Bond Easy Insure to the company's products,' Ms Pinto noted, adding that the gesture was intended to introduce Bond to nursing mothers so they could start saving for their babies.

She said the company has always provided support for the less privileged in society.

They Bond team congratulated the lucky mothers and wished them 'happy bathing moments.'

They also encouraged the mothers who received the bowls to instill in their children the savings habit as they grow.

Savings is best cultivated at a very early stage in life and it is not as difficult, they stressed.

Ms Pinto noted that the donation marked the beginning of a great relationship between Bond and the hospitals.
