Modesto Kwame Quandahor, 53, an old boy of St. Augustine's College and Deputy Director at the Ghana Health Service (GHS) was on Monday 25 May 2015 installed the Manwerehene of Awherase, near Aburi.
Quandahor who is the Principal Planning Officer at the GHS swore allegiance to Osambarima Opare Addo, the chief of Awherase (Awherasihene).
He subsequently pledged allegiance to Osambarima Opare Addo and the people of Awherase.
His chieftaincy title is Manwerehene.
The occasion was graced by the presence of Nana Acheampong Koi ll, Akwamuhene of Nzema Ellembelle Eikwe and Nana Abena Ansaa l and Ankobeahemaa of Larteh, Akwamu division.
Quandahor who is a member of the St. Augustine's Past Students Union (APSU) class of 1980, studied Accounting and Finance at the University of Ghana, and is a member of the class of 1996.
He followed this up with an MSc in International Health at the Queen Margaret University (2003) and an EMBA in Financial Management at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
Quandahor is a part-time lecturer at the School of Public Health School, University of Ghana.
He was born on August 26th 1961 and is married with children.
A number of his Augusco classmates were in attendance to support their colleague. Those present included: Albert Quartey-Papafio, William Foli-Kanyi (Gabo), Charles Ebo Fabin (Fabays), Rans Eddie Botchway and Peter Agbeko.
