Tetegu (G/AR) May 26, GNA - Madam Tina Mensah, New Patriotic Party (NPP) Aspiring Parliamentary Candidate for Weija/Gbawe Constituency, has said it was about time Executives of the party reflected on the internal freaking, see themselves as one people to enable the party win the 2016 general elections.

She called for total calm in the party, but however, said members hould not allow some unpatriotic to disrupt the unity, peace and tranquility existing in the party.

'Let us expose them in order to bring sanity into the party' she added.

Madam Mensah, made the call in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Tetegu near Weija, with regard to the death of Mr. Adams Mahama, Upper East Chairman of the party.

She expressed her condolences to the wife, children and the entire bereaved family of the late Mr. Adams, and prayed that Allah kept his soul in perfect peace.

She stressed the need for the Police to intensify their investigations into the matter, in order to bring the perpetrators to book.

The NPP Aspirant described the late chairman as a father, teacher, and counselor who loved and cared for all and sundry, irrespective of one's political affiliation.

She said the late regional chairman should not have passed away at this time, but added that what man proposes God the Almighty God disposes.

The aspirant M.P admonished the entire family to stand firm in Allah for he knows what is good for his people and with Him all things are possible.

'When Mr. Adams was alive, he preached hard work for the party's victory in the 2016 election in order to rescue Ghanaians from the hardships and sufferings they were going through and in respect of that, let us bury our differences and work assiduously to win the forthcoming elections to honour the late gallant and patriotic chairman'.

Madam Mensah said she believed in the delegates within the constituency, and therefore urged them to come out in their numbers on June 13, and vote for her to bring all on board to forge ahead for the party to win the 2016 general elections.
