The Shortcomings Of The Sarkhood Collabo: Lessons For The Talented Black African

Sarkodie, a leading African rapper has finally collaborated with American rapper, Ace Hood, but the circumstances surrounding this collaboration are quite hazy. Ghanaian music lovers commended Sarkodie for gaining another foothold in his global career when the news of this collaboration broke out, until embarrassing revelations begun to unfold on social media.

Initially, Sarkodie claimed that Ace Hood contacted him for the collaboration which sparked Ace Hood´s fury, compelling him to reply tweets of his fans who lambasted Sarkodie for apparently lying.

Unfortunately, there have been corny jokes about the SarkHood collabo saga aimed at denting the hard-earned reputation of Sarkodie. However, Sarkodie is also to blame for his perceived dishonesty in the Ghanaian media.

Moreover, there some lessons to be learnt by any talented black African from this whole issue. Many western entertainers appear to be neo-Nazis so you must repel that neo-Nazism with black African consciousness in dealing with them! Also, it is self-demeaning to beg and pay huge sums of money to such people for them to collaborate with you, but give off your best in your talented career to impress them beyond doubt even from afar!

Remember that Shasha Marley and multiple Grammy Awards winner; Isaac Lee Hayes, Jnr. did collaborate after Isaac Hayes in reaction to hearing Shasha Marley´s music said that: ´´…this brother is pure talent, he and I are going to great things together…´´ If Shasha Marley was able to demonstrate that lesson, why can´t any other black African musician follow suit? Arise and shine, o ye talented black Africans!
