Condolence Message: Death Of Mr Adams Mahama

The NPP Western Australia Chapter has learnt with utmost dismay of the despicable incident of the acid-attack on the Upper East Regional Chairman of the Party, Mr. Mahama Adam, which ultimately led to his death.

The Chapter views this incident as criminal, very cruel and beyond party politics. We therefore join in calling upon the security agencies to launch an immediate and thorough investigation into this barbaric act in order to bring the perpetrators to justice. We also entreat the general Ghanaian populace to be circumspect in their utterances about the incident and if aware of any information which might assist, feed all knowledge to the security agencies to assist them and allow them to crack down on the perpetrators.

We, the NPP WA Chapter, also want to sound a word of caution to some sections of the Ghanaian populace (especially the NDC and their faceless sympathisers) who, in good conscience, must view this incident as an individual criminal act that needs condemnation and which should be dissociated from party politics. They should therefore not use this heinous crime as a diversion to draw attention away from the gross incompetence and unprecedented corruption of the NDC that has crippled our beloved country from deserved progress and development.

Finally, we would like to encourage the NPP fraternity and Ghanaians as a whole to be united and not to be carried away by the gymnastics of the NDC and their anonymous sympathisers regarding this incidence. Let us therefore be focused and fight a common cause to ensure victory for the NPP come 2016 and save Ghanaians from the wicked hands of the NDC government.
