Where Was Hon. Atta Akyea When Kofi Portuphy Refused To Resign?
20.05.2015 LISTEN

The MP for Abuakwa South Constituency Hon. Atta Akyea has disappointed majority of us in NPP. We were expecting him to speak on major issues happening in this country , but not quoting of some section of the constitution of Ghana to stop paying his Fellow MP.

The question now is what did he say about Kofi Portuphy's refusal to resign from office? Was Atta Akyea not in Ghana when Kportorphy was elected as NDC National Chairman?

Ghanaians and members of NPP were waiting to hear him on the poor road network in his constituency and how he can lobby for it to be constructed. We want to hear him speaking about issues affecting Ghanaians and his constituency but not the salary of his colleagues.

The very sad news is that he stood there for ECG to disconnect power supply to the School for the Deaf and Dumb in kyebi.

The only library at Akyem Asafo in his constituency has now turned into hideouts for dangerous animals like snakes.

We expect him to do better than what he is doing. We are yet to hear him condemn the incompetency of this NDC government.

On this, we would like to Appeal to Hon Atta Akyea to fire the weak NDC government in power and he should also file a suit in court to remove Kofi Portuphy from public office.
