Nana Richmond Aggrey Is Krontihen Of Gomoa Ajumako...As He Swears Oath Of Allegiance To Omanhen

His Royal Majesty, Nana Takyi Wiabo V, Chief of Gomoa Benso, known in private life as Nana Richmond Kojo Aggrey, on Friday swore an Oath of Allegiance to the Omanhen of Gomoa Ajumako, Obrempong Nyanful Krampah XI, and the Divisional Chiefs as the Krontihen of the Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Area.

This came off last week at the Gomoa Ajumako Royal Palace in the Central Region of Ghana.

Nana Takyi Wiabo, has therefore, by this achieved a Divisional Status as the Krontihen of Gomoa Ajumako Tradional Area.

As the Krontihen, he shall act as the next in command to the Omanhen of the Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Area.

The Oath Of Allegiance ceremony which brought together all the chiefs and people of Gomoa Ajumako and surrounding towns was characterised by drumming and dancing by inhabitants and people of the area amidst traditional colours of pomp and pageantry.

In an interview with newsmen, Nana Takyi Wiabo, pledged his support for the area adding that it is his vision to bring investors to invest in the area.

He also identified teenage pregnancy as the major challenge in the area and promised to deal with it.

“I have plans to bring investors to explore biofuel opportunities in this area since the town is well endowed with the right kind of raw materials.

.....I will also do everything possible to raise the level of education in the area to curb rising cases of teenage pregnancy in the area,” Nana Takyi Wiabo stated.

Nana Richmond Kojo Aggrey is the CEO of OSAM Energy Group and Board Chairman of the Institute of Industrial Research (IIR).

He was born on April 17, 1950, and raised at Agona Swedru in the Coastal/Central Region of Ghana, West Africa. He graduated in 1974 in Electrical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana.

Thirty three years ago he departed Ghana to pursue an Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering at Moscow Friendship University, Moscow, and Drexel University in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, USA.

Over the past twenty five years, he has been involved in several successful entrepreneurial ventures and is highly regarded for his business expertise in organizing and managing new business ventures worldwide.

Three of his earliest and most notable ventures are ADDAX PETROLEUM AND ORYX GROUP, GENEVA; BASIC RESOURCES LIMITED (BRS Ltd), and SCANCOM GHANA LIMITED (AREEBA-NOW MTN GHANA).
