Dumsor Must Stop, But Your Constant Whining And Whimpering Would Not Act As A Magic Wind, Period!—David Oscar

Ghanaian comedian David Oscar has chosen to share his opinion on the on going #DumsorMustStop saga. The "Peep" actor took to his Facebook page on Wednesday to remind Ghanaians of the roles we must all play in sustaining our energy reserves.

"I'm not even gonna be hypocritical and join the #DumsorMustStop trend.", David Oscar wrote. Further stating, "How many of us have tried to conserve energy? Thanks to our waste, the dams are suffering". In his attempt to dispel any perceptions that he is a Mahama ally, David Oscar retorted.

"Don't get me wrong, I'm a mindless critic of the president JDM", probably referring to his criticism of the economy, ECG and the president's lack of ideas, during the recent world cup. "and I understand that there are alternative sources of energy, but do you think that if it was that easy to fix the power crisis, the president would not save himself the blames and constant harassment? As a nation, we happen to be fault seekers and less of vision implementers. Dumsor must stop, but your constant whining and whimpering would not acts as a magic wand. Period!", he wrote on.

David Oscar's post has got people celebrating him for speaking their minds and a few more criticizing him because they believe it's their right to have electricity no matter what.

On the star's Facebook page, one fan recounted how his uncle died when his oxygen went off due to power outage; blaming the president for whatever happens to the pastor's widow and 4 children. Another fan fired back as he mentioned that his uncle also died in 2004 due to an oxygen machine failure, stating that the government of the day should not be made to take blame for such deaths.
