Nketia (Ash), May 6, GNA - The True Faith Church, Ghana, has donated assorted gifts in support of 300 identified widows in a ceremony held at Nketia in the Atwima-Nwabiagya district.
These include pieces of wax prints, large quantity of secondhand clothing and food items.
The General Overseer, Senior Apostle Gyan Owusu-Achiaw, said as Christians, they were enjoined by their faith to show love and generosity to the poor and the suffering.
They would therefore continue to do everything they could to make life a bit comfortable for such people.
He directed all branches of the church to use part of the offering collected to provide some cushioning for widows, orphans and the needy in society.
Nana Kwaku Duah, the Gyaasehene of Nketia, commended the church for the gesture and invited others to emulate.
