A Winnerable Candidate: The Party's Best From The People View Not The Party's View

Eventhough a party mostly know the best of all its members who can actually perform best for an area(constituency, district, assembly, country) and party when pushed forth and elected by the people for an area, a sad part is a party's best is not always the best of the people.

Note, since it is the decison/votes/thumbs of the people that gives a party power and not the decision/votes/thumbs of a party, a party will always have to go for their best with respect to the people's view and not with respect to the party's view even when the best with respect to people wouldn't be/isn't good enough for the party.

This is simply because, the quest/goal of every political party is to win an election and since the power lies in the hands of the people and not the party, there will be a need to go by the people's view and not that of party.

As a result, any party which wants to win an election has to present the best of its member from the view of the people and not from their view.

Kwadaso Constituency As A Scenario
In Kwadaso Constituency, there are about six people contesting for the NPP MP Aspirant position namely Dr Akoto(Phd)(Incumbent), Dr Kingsley Nyarko(Phd), Dr Nuamah(PhD), Dr Dwamena(Medical), Hilda Addo(former MP) and Vincent.

From the list above, the average of the best from the people's and party's view are Dr Akoto, Hilda Addo and Dr Kingsley Nyarko.

This average was made taking into consideration their influence/like in/by party and among/by the people in the constituency

Without mincing words, the most influential/favourite in the party now among the three is Dr akoto and so I believe if we were supposed to go by the party's best from the party's view it would certainly have been Dr akoto.

He is followed by Dr Kingsley Nyarko and lastly by Hilda Addo.

Again without mincing words, the most influential among these three among the people in the Constituency is Dr Kingsley Nyarko with a wide margin followed by Dr Akoto and Hilda Addo.

(Huge rumour has it that, the people in constituency have vowed to vote against Dr Akoto or Hilda if they are presented as MP Aspirants for the constituency)

As a result of the above, since the 2016 elections cant be a try and error thing and so can't be played with, the party will need to go for its best with respect to the people's view inorder to help reduce votes apathy, increase the votes of NPP in the constituency and thus go on to help increase NPP's votes nationally.
