THE PARLIAMENTARY candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2012 elections at the Ningo-Prampram Constituency, Sylvester Tetteh, has stated that he is poised for a showdown with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the area come 2016.

He mentioned that mistakes committed by the party in the last general election will not be repeated in 2016, adding that party executives have mapped out effective strategies to beat the NDC.

Mr Tetteh made this known when he submitted his nomination forms at the constituency party office at Old Ningo, together with some party delegates, opinion leaders and some party sympathisers.

He pointed out that the NPP is ready to match and debate the NDC on achievements in the constituency, stating that the NDC has nothing to show for as a legacy for the constituency.

The NPP candidate advised voters in the Ningo-Prampram constituency to vote out the NDC for their incompetence, mismanagement and corruption, explaining that the NDC 'has drowned the country in an economic abyss.'

He reminded the delegates at both Prampram and Ningo to desist from ethnocentric politics and unite for a decisive win against the NDC in the 2016 general elections.

Addo Emmanuel, constituency secretary, expressed immense confidence in the nominee.
