18 Year Girl Butchered Over Boy Friend

An 18 year girl Juliana Acquah was last night deformed with blade by an ex girlfriend of her lover boy Emmanuel Kwoffie whiles in a room at night at Salman-Elembele of the western region on Thursday.

Amina the suspect, acted on the fact that, Juliana the victim is going out with her boyfriend which she has warn her several times to stay away but adhere to that.

The boy, Emmanuel Kwoffie a 31 year old taxi driver who confirmed the incident in an interview with ModernGhana said, Amina rashed in impromptu into the house to meet the victim and slashed her face and other parts several times with a razor blade.

According to him, he doesn't really understand the reason why, Amina acted in that manner. He explain, she was his ex-girlfriend and has nothing doing with her anymore.

"Though, she called me and demanded some money from me, I told her that, I bring her the money myself the next day at Takoradi". She stated.

"Some few few hours after, around 8:pm, I saw her coming and I was surprised. Upon meeting her, she rushed Juliana and caused this harm". He noted.

Juliana, has suffered several wounds on her face, the chest and the back and was admitted at the community clinic at Elembele.

The suspect Amina, a 21year lady and a native of Bawku in the northern region, but resides at Takoradi is currently in police custody.

Speaking to the Police she that, she has warn the victim on two difference occasions, asking her to stay away from Emmanuel, her ex boyfriend but she wouldn't listen.

According to her, she has further complained to her parents to advise their daughter to stay off, but to no avail.

"Yesterday I called Emmanuel that, I will be visiting him but only to come and meet the victim in the room". She stated.

Meanwhile, information indicate that, Amina has remained in police custody till 10:20pm on Friday as at time ModernGhana filed this report.
