His Royal Majesty, Nana Takyi Wiabo V, Chief of Gomoa Benso, known in private life as Nana Richmond Kojo Aggrey, has been elevated to a Divisional Status as the Krontihen of Gomoa Ajumako Tradional Area.

Following this announcement, he is expected to swear an Oath of Allegiance to the Omanhen and the Divisional Chiefs on 15th May, 2015.

This was made known in a notice of elevation statement signed by Obrempong Nyanful Krampah XI, the Omanhen and President of the Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Council.

Background
Nana Richmond Kojo Aggrey is the CEO of OSAM Energy Group and Board Chairman of the Institute of Industrial Research (IIR).

He was born on April 17, 1950, and raised at Agona Swedru in the Coastal/Central Region of Ghana, West Africa. He graduated in 1974 in Electrical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana.

Thirty three years ago he departed Ghana to pursue an Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering at Moscow Friendship University, Moscow, and Drexel University in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, USA.

Over the past twenty five years, he has been involved in several successful entrepreneurial ventures and is highly regarded for his business expertise in organizing and managing new business ventures worldwide.

Three of his earliest and most notable ventures are ADDAX PETROLEUM AND ORYX GROUP, GENEVA; BASIC RESOURCES LIMITED (BRS Ltd), and SCANCOM GHANA LIMITED (AREEBA-NOW MTN GHANA).

ELEVATION TO A DIVISIONAL STATUS
This is to inform you that Obrempong Nyanful Krampah XI, the President of Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Council in consultations with Nananom Divisional Chiefs, have elevated you to the divisional status of Krontihen of Gomoa Ajumako Tradional Area. You are expected by Nananom to swear the Oath of Allegiance to the Omanhen and the Divisional Chiefs on 15th May, 2015.
